Filippo is a Managing Director in Accenture’s Energy practice in the Middle East, based in the UAE. In his role, Filippo oversees Accenture’s business with National Oil Companies in the region, focusing on driving technology-enabled business transformation and AI adoption across the oil & gas value chain. He also leads Accenture’s integrated gas and LNG activities across EMEA. After graduating in the UK in 2005, Filippo started his career in Investment Banking and Private Equity at Lehman Brothers in London, Rome and New York. In 2009, he joined Eni S.p.A. and took on several managerial roles within the upstream and midstream businesses, initially leading business development activities across Eastern Europe from Poland and Ukraine, before taking responsibility for Africa while based in Nigeria. In 2013, he moved to Eni’s LNG business, where he led the commercial and marketing activities for the Coral and Rovuma LNG projects in Mozambique before assuming responsibility for global LNG business development activities based in Singapore. At the same time, Filippo also served as General Manager of Eni’s Singapore branch. In 2021, Filippo joined Accenture as a Managing Director, leading relationships with major energy clients across Asia. In July 2023, he relocated to the Middle East, where he works with some of the region’s largest energy companies. Filippo is also a member of Accenture’s global Energy leadership team, with specific responsibility for gas and LNG across EMEA. Filippo lives in the UAE, is married with two daughters, and holds an MA in Economics and Economic History from the University of Edinburgh.
