Upstream Plenary Stage 15:40 - 16:10
Abu Dhabi as the destination for international energy investment: partnering across oil and gas

Abu Dhabi has become one of the most attractive destinations in the world for international energy investment, pairing some of the lowest-cost and lowest-carbon barrels available with world-scale oil and gas resources, a stable and transparent fiscal regime, and an integrated value chain that spans exploration, production, refining and petrochemicals. As global majors rebalance portfolios toward secure, advantaged and returns-accretive barrels, ADNOC’s partnership model gives international companies scaled access to growth across both oil and gas – from accelerated production capacity and gas expansion to AI-enabled operations and decarbonisation at the wellhead. This panel brings together upstream leaders from across the global industry to examine what makes Abu Dhabi a differentiated place to invest and to partner. How are international companies deploying capital here, what returns and capabilities are they unlocking, and how does the Abu Dhabi model set the benchmark for the next decade of oil and gas investment?
