Dev Singh is Vice President and Global Head of Energy & Resources and Managing Director of Qualcomm UAE. A 25-year semiconductor and technology executive, he brings extensive experience spanning chip design, advanced IC development, manufacturing, product strategy, business development, and the creation and scaling of new technology businesses. At Qualcomm Technologies, Dev has led global initiatives across edge AI, Physical AI, Industrial IoT, robotics, drones, and intelligent machines. He previously led compute and multimedia IP development for Snapdragon platforms and subsequently established and scaled technology businesses across robotics, drones, and industrial IoT. His work connects semiconductor innovation with real-world applications across oil and gas, mining, energy and utilities, smart cities, industrial automation, and autonomous operations. In his current role, Dev leads Qualcomm’s global Energy & Resources business, with responsibility for strategy, business development, technology investments, ecosystem partnerships, and execution. As Managing Director of Qualcomm UAE, he also leads the company’s UAE operations and Abu Dhabi Engineering Center, helping establish the region as a hub for AI innovation and industrial transformation. Before joining Qualcomm, Dev held engineering, product, and operational leadership roles at Texas Instruments, with experience spanning design implementation, wafer fabrication, assembly and test, packaging, new product development, and manufacturing operations. Dev holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
