Partner and Director
BCG
Martha is an upstream oil and gas expert in BCG's Energy practice, with 25 years spanning strategy, delivery models, performance improvement, benchmarking, and cost reduction across multiple asset classes and basins, including 10 years in field operations at SLB. She leads BCG's global work on Decommissioning, Methane Emissions, and Operational Decarbonization in upstream. Her decommissioning work — set out in BCG's white paper Oil and Gas Decommissioning: Lessons from Mature Basins — centres on the same delivery challenges facing capital projects today: designing and de-risking programs, accelerating and optimising execution, improving cost and schedule certainty against a tight and inflating supply chain, and building efficient, well-aligned relationships with equipment and service partners. She recently co-authored BCG's perspective “Securing the Oil and Gas Resources of the Future”, and has a track record of chairing leadership roundtables and panels across the industry.
