Principal Scientist of Petrochemical Department, Sinopec Tech Middle East

Dr. Weiguo Huang, graduated from Tsinghua University in 1999, is a research fellow in Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) Sinopec, and principal scientist of the petrochemical R&D department of Sinopec Tech Middle East LLC (STME). He has been engaged in the research and development of lube base oil and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) hydroprocessing technologies and catalysts for 26 years. The series catalysts and technologies have been applied in more than 30 refineries over 80 times. The total capacity of SAF production in three units is about 400,000 tons/year. He has applied for more than 120 patents and has been granted more than 100.
