Stefano Carenza – KT Tech (NEXTCHEM) - Biography Stefano Carenza is a Chemical Process Engineer with over 20 years of experience in hydrogen, syngas, refining, and energy transition technologies, working within the Maire Group since 2006 and currently H2 & Syngas Group Leader in KT Tech, leading technology development and engineering activities related to hydrogen and synthesis gas production. Throughout his career, Stefano has contributed to the design, development, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of numerous Hydrogen Production Units (HPUs) worldwide. His expertise covers conventional and low-carbon hydrogen technologies, including Steam Methane Reforming (SMR), Blue Hydrogen solutions, hydrogen recovery systems. In addition to his industrial experience, Stefano is actively involved in knowledge sharing and professional development, having delivered lectures on hydrogen technologies at University and co-authored technical papers on blue hydrogen production and decarbonization strategies.
