SHANKAR VAIDYANATHAN– Executive Director and SENIOR FELLOW Shankar Vaidyanathan is an Executive Director, Process Technology, and Senior Fellow specializing in downstream refining and hydroprocessing, with more than 33 years of experience in process technology, engineering design, and consulting. His expertise includes strategic master planning, feasibility studies, FEED development, clean fuels, refining integration, oil-to-chemicals, aromatics, and specialty petrochemicals. He has supported major global clients across North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe and has led numerous high-profile refining and petrochemical projects. Before joining Fluor in 2007, he worked with Chevron Lummus Global and began his career with Engineers India Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Annamalai University.
