Senior Manager – Engineers India Limited Ramanayya Gorle is a Senior Manager at Engineers India Limited (EIL), New Delhi, with over 15 years of experience in process design, technology development, and commissioning for the oil & gas and refining sectors. He has developed several innovative process technologies, including patented CDU–VDU configurations, a novel single-column Sour Water Stripper (SWS), advanced crude desalting technologies, onshore heater treaters, syngas scrubbing systems, and 2G bioethanol distillation processes. He is the inventor of more than 15 patents. He holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University and is proficient in PRO-II, Aspen One, FRI, and HTRI. AREAS OF INTEREST Refinery process optimization, mass transfer equipment (separators, columns, and deaerators), thermal design of heat exchangers, IDBH, and fired heaters. Digital twins, real-time optimization, process intensification, and energy auditing. ACHIEVEMENTS / AWARDS Certified Energy Manager & Auditor (BEE, 2023). Led commercialization, commissioning, and Performance Guarantee Test Runs (PGTR) of EIL's indDSK®, indJet®, and indDiesel® technologies. Innovated the CDU reflux drum (CPCL) and led desalter revamps for BPCL, IOCL, BORL, and CPCL. Indigenously developed the Heater Treater and successfully completed the PGTR at the ONGC site.
