Senior Energy Efficiency and Renewables Engineer, The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources

Nancy Azazy is a Senior Energy Efficiency and Renewables Engineer at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. With a background in Electrical Power Engineering , she is currently a PhD researcher focusing on Renewables and AI at Ain Shams University. Bridging her engineering expertise with advanced data analytics , she successfully created the "Egypt Energy Balance Dashboard". For this achievement, she earned the "Excellence in Digital Transformation and AI Use" award and was a featured speaker at EGYPES 2026. Furthermore, she became the first Egyptian engineer to receive a Geothermal Project Management scholarship at Auckland University and actively serves on the UNFCCC Roster of Experts.
