Department Manager Feedstock and Pre-treatment Technologies, Circular Economy Innovation, OMV Downstream GmbH

Michaela Fraubaum is working as a Department Manager in OMV’s Circular Economy Innovation organization. A senior chemical engineer with more than 12 years of experience in the energy and chemicals sector, she leads a cross-functional team developing innovative feedstock and pre-treatment solutions to enable large-scale circularity and support OMV’s sustainability and transformation strategy. Before joining OMV she worked on the process development and optimization of polyolefin production plants at a large petrochemical company. Michaela holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from TU Wien and combines deep technical expertise with strong business and strategy acumen.
