Assistant General Manager, Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies, ECHEM Dr. Mariam Mohamed Farouk Yassin is Assistant General Manager of Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies at the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), where she leads the technical evaluation and licensing of green hydrogen and Power-to-X projects. She has over 17 years of experience in the petrochemical industry and was a core contributor to Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum Low-Carbon Strategy. She holds a PhD in Crisis and Risk Management from Cairo University, focused on green chemistry and climate strategy in petrochemicals, and is a RENAC Certified Green Hydrogen Specialist. She has presented at major industry events including ADIPEC, EGYPES, and the Egyptian Mining Forum.
