Debashis Thakur has over 18 years of experience in refinery operations and technical services in hydro processing units, hydrogen systems, refinery optimization, and energy transition initiatives. His expertise includes operation & trouble shooting in Hydro-processing unit, green hydrogen deployment, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) integration, hydrogen unit optimization, carbon capture and utilization (CCUS), advanced process control, and refinery decarbonization strategies.

He has contributed to refinery-integrated green hydrogen projects, SAF co-processing and greenfield initiatives, hydrogen repurposing programs, and long-term decarbonization roadmaps aligned with Net Zero targets. Mr. Thakur holds an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Assam Engineering College.
