Cherian Varghese is a Production Engineer and industrial strategist with more than 30 years of experience across Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which he now calls home. He is certified in Project Management, Cost Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Design Thinking, with expertise spanning advanced environmental engineering, natural mineral science, and sustainable industrial technologies.

His work focuses on developing and commercialising innovative solutions for large-scale water treatment, soil remediation, industrial process optimisation, and environmental restoration. He combines deep technical knowledge with practical operational experience to deliver scalable technologies that improve efficiency, sustainability, and long-term asset performance.

Cherian is the Founder of Aquom Gulf and established the company’s Abu Dhabi operations alongside Raya Holding, a private investment office based in Abu Dhabi. He leads a diverse portfolio of ventures across deep technology, environmental remediation, advanced manufacturing, and industrial innovation, integrating lifecycle optimisation, bio-digital diagnostics, intelligent automation, and advanced production systems to support sustainable industrial transformation on a global scale.
