Bosco Bio Bosco Chiramel is a Senior Engineer in Operations at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Mumbai Refinery, where he runs lube base-oil hydrotreating and iso-dewaxing units and leads energy-recovery and decarbonisation projects across the lube oil complex. He was named Runner-Up, Young Engineer of the Year at the Asian Downstream Summit 2025 — the first Indian engineer to receive the honour — and is a finalist or shortlisted nominee at the UK Gas Industry, Global Energy Show Canada, and Oil & Gas Middle East awards. A sole-author contributor to the FIPI Journal and SSRN, his work bridges refining with the energy transition — from hydrogen fast-fill to repurposing domestic refinery streams for AI data-centre cooling.
