Speaker Biography – ADIPEC 2026 Ayca Akinci, MSc Product Owner – Extended Reality (XR), Siemens Energy Ayca Akinci, MSc, is a Product Owner for Extended Reality (XR) at Siemens Energy, driving the adoption of AR, VR, and MR technologies in industrial energy projects. She enables the use of immersive solutions in construction and field-deployment scenarios – from supplier onboarding and compliance to hands-on use on active sites. Her applied research on mobile Augmented Reality for BIM-based construction progress control was tested in a field study conducted with Siemens Energy, providing practical insights into the use of XR in the energy sector.
