Dr. Ahmed Tarek Abd El-Hamid is a Senior Rotating Mechanical Engineer at ETHYDCO, Egypt, with over 10 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, where his research focused on boil-off gas liquefaction technologies. He earned his M.Sc. from Alexandria University in collaboration with the University of Birmingham and King Saud University. Dr. Ahmed specializes in steam turbine operation, reliability engineering, root-cause failure analysis, and turnaround management. He has led major overhaul projects and published several peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals, including Separation and Purification Technology. He is also dedicated to mentoring young engineers.
