Ali AbuHaliqa is the Executive Director of Human Capital and Deputy Chief Corporate Support Officer at Mubadala Energy, where he leads Human Capital and Corporate Services across the company’s global operations. With over 15 years of experience within the Mubadala Group, Ali has built a proven track record in organizational transformation, culture development, Emiratization, workforce planning, and cost optimization.
Ali has spearheaded several high-impact initiatives, including the establishment of Mubadala Energy’s organizational structure in 2022, the implementation of global HR and corporate systems such as Oracle, automation of key processes, and the launch of graduate and young professional programs worldwide. In 2023, he successfully led the divestment of mature assets in Thailand through a “clean exit” strategy, safeguarding shareholder value, preserving the company’s reputation, and maintaining strong employee engagement. He also played a key role in shaping policies and frameworks for compensation, benefits, and crisis management across international offices.
A regular speaker at global HR and leadership forums, Ali brings thought leadership on topics such as talent strategy, innovation, and organizational culture. He holds both a BSc and MSc in Human Resources Management from Abu Dhabi University and has completed executive leadership programs at Harvard Business School, London Business School, and INSEAD.
