Chris has worked in shipping and maritime services for 25 years and built a strong reputation for effective leadership and delivering growth. Chris spent the first part of his career in container shipping joining P&O Nedlloyd as a graduate trainee and then with AP Moller-Maersk in a variety of commercial and general management roles in the Americas, Copenhagen and Southern Africa. Moving to global Agency in 2014 Chris spent 10 years in Inchcape, 5 of which as CCO leading the commercial growth of the business and driving the sale to UK private equity. Since 2024 Chris has been with Ambrey, joining as CCO and now leading the business as Managing Director of the Ambrey Group, sitting on the Board. Ambrey is a leading provider of maritime intelligence, security and risk management including insurance. Chris is passionate about the critical role shipping plays facilitating sustainable trade and improving lives.
