This year, the Technical Conferences received more than 7,200 abstract submissions from around the world, reflecting the scale of innovation taking place across the energy sector. The real challenge is execution 

The sector’s defining challenge over the next decade will not be identifying promising technologies. It will be execution and deploying proven solutions at the speed and scale required to meet growing global demand while lowering emissions and strengthening resilience. The most valuable innovations, then, are not always the most sophisticated. They are the ones that move quickly from concept to deployment: proven, scalable and capable of delivering measurable value. 

This is precisely where a single, well-executed technical paper earns its place. It is a unit of proven knowledge, ready to be picked up and put to work. 

As delegates gather at ADIPEC 2026, I encourage them to look beyond the headlines and focus on the technical insights behind them. Somewhere in those 7,200-plus ADIPEC Technical Conference submissions is the efficiency insight that lowers your operating costs, the maintenance model that heads off your next unplanned shutdown, or the digital approach that makes your operations measurably cleaner and more resilient. The idea that reshapes your business is far more likely to be one careful paper than one loud announcement.
