WHO CAN SUBMIT AN ENTRY?
The awards are open to anyone who meets the criteria of the related category/categories.
CAN I NOMINATE MYSELF OR MY OWN COMPANY?
Yes. We accept self-nominated and third-party entries for both organizations and individuals.
ARE THERE ANY ENTRY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE ENTRY SUBMISSION?
No. The awards are free to enter, irrespective of the number of categories you participate in.
HOW DO I ENTER?
Complete the online registration on our online submissions’ portal on the ADIPEC Awards webpage: https://www.adipec.com/awards/
Choose the category or categories you wish to enter, complete all required fields against the judging criteria and submit your entry.
You will receive an email from us to confirm we have received your entry.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT NOMINATIONS?
All entries must be submitted via the awards online portal by 11:59 pm GST on 5 July 2021.
WHAT IS THE TIME FRAME FOR NOMINATIONS?
15 weeks. The online entry portal opens on 23 March 2021 and closes at 11:59 pm GST on 5 July 2021.
APART FROM THE SUBMISSION PORTAL, IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY THAT I CAN SUBMIT AN ENTRY (E.G. EMAIL, POSTAL)?
No. All submissions must be made through our online submissions portal on our website page: https://www.adipec.com/awards/
CAN I SUBMIT MY ENTRY IN ANY LANGUAGE?
Entries must be submitted in English.
CAN I SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE ENTRY?
Yes. There are no limits to how many unique submissions can be made by an individual or organization as long as they meet the eligibility requirements for the category.
IS MY SUBMISSION CONFIDENTIAL
Yes. All awards submissions are treated with strict confidentiality.
CAN I SUBMIT THE SAME ENTRY IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES?
Yes. If your entry is relevant to multiple categories and corresponds with the entry submission criteria.
CAN I SUBMIT MULTIPLE ENTRIES FOR THE SAME PROJECT IN ONE CATEGORY?
No. Please do not submit entries for the same project more than once.
If the same entry is submitted multiple times, the most recent entry will be considered with previous entries being deleted.
DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT MY ENTRY IN ONE SITTING OR AM I ABLE TO COMPLETE IT AT A LATER DATE?
The online submissions portal allows entrants to save their submission as a draft and return to add or complete the entry at a later time.
Applicants must remember to save their progress and can update and change the content as many times as needed, up until the submission deadline.
CAN I EDIT MY ENTRY AFTER SUBMITTING?
Yes. To do so log back into the submission portal at any time and make the necessary edits and re-submit before the entry deadline.
CAN I SEND ADDITIONAL MATERIALS THAT WILL COMPLEMENT MY SUBMISSION VIA EMAIL?
No additional material will be accepted via email or airmail. All material relevant to your submission must be submitted through our online submission portal.
WHAT FORMAT SHOULD ATTACHMENTS BE?
Please make sure than any relevant supporting documents are provided in PDF or PowerPoint format only.
WILL I RECEIVE FEEDBACK FROM A SUBMISSION?
No, feedback is not shared on submissions.

WHAT IS THE ADJUDICATION PROCESS?
The judging of entries consists of a thorough and transparent three-tier process:
- Evaluation by a Technical Committee. A team of technical specialists who are experts in their nominated category ensure submission standards are met and shortlist entries against each criteria point.
- Evaluation by Selection Committee, industry specialists comprising leaders of organisations evaluate the shortlisted submissions to identify the top 3 finalists in each category.
- Evaluation by The ADIPEC Awards Jury, comprising Global Energy Leaders who independently evaluate the 30 finalists to identify the winners in each category.
WILL I BE NOTIFIED REGARDING THE RECEIPT OF MY SUBMISSION?
Yes. You will receive a notification email upon completion of your entry/entries.
If you have registered or have a draft saved, but not submitted your entry, you will also receive a reminder email from the ADIPEC Awards Team to complete your submission, as we approach the deadline.
WILL I BE NOTIFIED IF I HAVE BEEN SHORTLISTED?
Yes. You will be notified by email by the ADIPEC Awards Team.
You will also receive an email should you regrettably not make the shortlist.
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE AWARDS CEREMONY?
The ADIPEC Awards Ceremony will take place on 15 November 2021 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

IS THERE A FEE TO ATTEND THE ADIPEC AWARDS CEREMONY?
Each category finalist will be given complimentary invitations to attend The ADIPEC Awards ceremony.
Any costs incurred to attend ceremony itself will be incurred by the finalists.
