Ryan Edwards

Ryan Edwards is the Director of Climate Policy at Oxy, working to advance carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). His experience and research spans CCUS science, engineering, economics, and policy. Prior to joining Oxy, Ryan was an AAAS Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow in the United States Senate working on energy and climate policy with a focus on CCUS. Ryan completed a PhD in civil and environmental engineering at Princeton University, in which he developed subsurface fluid flow models of geological carbon storage. He was also a fellow in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, where his research analyzed economics and policy for carbon dioxide capture and transport systems.
