Adel Al Shaaya is responsible for the drilling activities and well operations in Mubadala Petroleum. He has over 20 years of experience in technical and managerial roles in the oil & gas industry, focusing on drilling operations. Adel joined Mubadala Petroleum in 2011 and has held a variety of technical and asset management roles. Before joining Mubadala Petroleum, Adel worked at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA – OPCO) covering various offshore drilling and engineering positions. Adel is actively involved in chairing and participating as a jury member in many SPE Workshops and ADIPEC events. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from U.A.E. University.
