Current Position:

Vice President and  Director of Technology and Services for Offshore Classification in DNV, with responsibility for all service development and technology development for mobile offshore units. Special focus has been on digitalisation of existing services and development of new services based on digital opportunities.

Experience: 

Have worked for more than 28 years in DNV, stationed in Norway, USA and Singapore, mainly with classification, certification and verification of floating offshore units, designed, built and operating all over the world. Previously Global director of Approval for Mobile Offshore Units in Singapore, Director of Operations for the DNV Approval Centre for Ship and Offshore at Head Office in Oslo, Norway. Also a broad experience within drilling and FPSO both from drawing approval and site. Acted as Project Manager and Project Sponsor for DNV for conversions and newbuildings.

Education:

MSc. in Mechanical Engineering (1995) from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, at the University of Trondheim, Norway.
