Nasser Al Muhairi is the Executive Vice President of Downstream Business Management at ADNOC, where he oversees the strategic growth and operational performance of ADNOC’s downstream portfolio, which spans refining and petrochemicals; gas processing and marketing; distribution, logistics and shipping; and global trading. In this role, he is responsible for delivering added value across ADNOC’s downstream businesses, leading the asset management functions, fostering strategic partnerships and strengthening investor relations. With over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, Nasser is a recognized trusted leadership advisor and influential decision-maker with a strong track record for ensuring seamless alignment between corporate governance, shareholder interests, and business objectives. During his tenure at ADNOC, Nasser has held several leadership positions, notably serving as Senior Vice President of Business Transformation, Excellence, and Performance. In this role, he was responsible for aligning ADNOC’s Downstream transformation initiatives with the organisation’s long-term growth strategy and spearheading strategic negotiations with key investors, regulators, and international partners. Nasser also holds the position of Chairman of Ruwais LNG, the first LNG export facility in the Middle East and Africa region to operate on clean power, and currently serves as a member on the Board of Directors for Borouge, ADNOC Gas Processing, ADNOC LNG, ADNOC Global Trading, Navig8, and NMDC Energy.
