As of November 2024, George Bou Mitri has assumed the expanded role of President for Honeywell’s Industrial Automation, in the Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Central Asia region. In this capacity, he is leading a dynamic team dedicated to addressing the digitalization, automation, safety, and productivity needs across more than 16 verticals within the region. Before his current appointment, Bou Mitri served as the Vice President General Manager for Honeywell's Industrial Automation business line in the MENA region. In this role, he led a team of over 700 skilled professionals, unifying hardware, software, and cutting-edge technology and services under a single umbrella to drive impactful solutions for clients. Prior to this position, Bou Mitri spearheaded the transformation and management of Honeywell’s Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) operations in the Middle East. During his tenure, he successfully expanded the business's footprint and identified new strategic opportunities. He collaborated closely with PMT teams throughout the region to achieve profitable growth that outpaced market trends, achieving year-over-year margin expansion.
