Pauline Raabe

Pauline Raabe joined the H2Global Foundation as Project Manager to promote H2Global’s activities in the MENA region. Prior to H2Global, she worked with the UN, the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation and the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK) in Saudi Arabia. Mrs Raabe holds a bachelor's degree in political science and Islamic science as well as a master’s degree from SOAS, University of London in Middle East Politics and Arabic.

This presentation will explore how the H2Global mechanism is fostering the creation of clean hydrogen markets by leveraging innovative, cross-border auction models. By offering a detailed analysis of the pilot auction results published in July this year, H2Global will shed light on how this approach incentivises green hydrogen production, bridges the gap between supply and demand, and drives down costs to make clean hydrogen commercially viable at a global scale.
