Anjani Trivedi writes about global business and finance for The Economist and is based in Dubai. She previously worked at Bloomberg. where she wrote an Opinion column, and at the Wall Street Journal, where she wrote about business and finance, and for the Journal's column Heard on the Street, in Hong Kong. Prior to that, she worked at UBS Investment Bank in New York and London, and the International Finance Corporation in New Delhi. She holds a bachelors in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
