Mr. Santanu Purohit is a Professional in the Oil & Gas industry with a rich and diversified experience of more than 25 years. During this tenure, he has effectively handled administrative & strategic responsibilities at different levels in eminent organisation Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. He has worked in almost all functions in the Retail business and contributed majorly to retail engineering and marketing, specifically to Retail automation, Cloud inclusion, new technology adoption and digital transformation. He was pivotal in conceptualising, designing, and implementing the “IRIS- Control & Command Centre “ in BPCL. He is qualified for an MBA, PGEMP, B.Tech ( Instrumentation & Electronics Engg), and B. Sc ( Physics -Honors) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Service Marketing from UPES, Dehradun, focusing on the inclusion of technology in services for better efficiency and customer experience enhancement in Petro Retail. He has published twenty-four papers in national and international journals, besides attending and presenting papers at national and international conferences, including India Energy Week and Future Energy Asia. He has also been awarded with the “International Best Researcher Award“ by ISSN International Science & Technology Award 2022 (IISTA-2022), “Best Researcher Award” in “International Scientist Award 2022 on Engineering Science and Medicine”, and  "International Best Researcher Award" at the International Congress for Research Excellence 2024.
