Mohamed Mady is a seasoned Process Safety Engineer with over seven years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Since 2017, he has contributed to safety measures and regulatory compliance, notably working at the Zohr Gas field, the largest gas field in the Mediterranean Sea. In 2023, he transitioned to a role as senior process safety engineer at a newly constructed refinery, where he was responsible for establishing the process safety management system and for reviewing and commenting on the safety studies made for the plant. Mohamed holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Arizona State University, where he graduated with honors. He possesses several international certifications, including the NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management and the Functional Safety Engineer certification from TÜV Rheinland. Mohamed has also been a guest speaker at the Africa Asset Integrity Management Conference and Showcase and participated in several technical conferences in the field of oil and gas.
