Prashant Singh is the Head of New Energy (Hydrogen & CCUS) at ONGC, bringing over 32 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 24 years in field operations. He began his career as a Graduate Trainee – Mechanical in 1993 and has held diverse roles across ONGC's North East and Mumbai High offshore operations, covering maintenance, planning, and rig operations. He later served as Chief Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of ONGC’s Ahmedabad Asset and is now leading ONGC’s low-carbon initiatives from the Delhi Corporate Office. Prashant holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from REC Silchar and an Executive Diploma in Marketing from Nirma University. He also serves on the boards of Pawan Hans Limited and Aayana Pvt Renewables Ltd. His notable contributions include the development of a Hook Overload Protection System, a portable solar bunkhouse, and the introduction of ONGC’s new generation automated hydraulic workover rig.
