Innovation showcase: Smart stations and hyper-personalisation

The fuel, convenience, and mobility retail sector are changing rapidly due to evolving customer needs. By embracing AI and advanced digital technologies, retailers can create seamless, hyper-personalised customer experiences, with targeted promotions and personalised loyalty programmes, powered by predictive analytics and actionable data provided by consumer insights.

There’s also plenty consumers don’t see. From algorithms that forecast the quantity and type of fuel required by service stations, to predicting what consumer goods should be delivered to given stores, to employing AI tools to select new service station locations and even design the stores themselves, AI is set to impact every facet of the mobility retail experience in the years and decades to come.

Through this session, we will discuss an AI-powered vision of the future, where fuel and convenience stores evolve into digital-first hubs that provide customers with the products and services they rely on with as little friction as possible.
