Paola Chavez, born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University. She serves as a Technical Service Engineer at Belzona, Inc., providing office and field support to ensure successful applications of Belzona systems.

As part of Belzona’s Corporate Oil & Gas team, Paola contributes to business development through specifications, testing, approvals, and technical guidance. An AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector Level 2, she is dedicated to advancing standards in materials protection.

At ADIPEC, Paola will present on the benefits of applying corrosion and chemical protection at the fabrication stage of sulfuric acid alkylation units, highlighting this proactive strategy as a best practice that enhances durability, extends service life, and ensures long-term operational reliability.
