Oscar Bustos is a Petroleum Engineering Graduate from Universidad de America, Colombia, with 3 years of Geology from Universidad Nacional – Colombia and an MBA from Erasmus University in the Netherlands. He spent 15 years with SLB mostly on Well Stimulation. He worked in Mexico, Argentina, USA (Midland, Denver and Houston) and then 14 years with EOG Resources in well completions with last position as Chief Completions Engineer, driving innovation, data integration and efficiency across multiple assets in the US and internationally. Oscar joined ADNOC in April 2024 as Senior Vice President, Unconventional, looking after the safe, responsible and most economical way to exploit hydrocarbons trapped in shales and tight rocks.
