Bjorn Madsen is the Vice President (Commercial) of Pelagus 3D (a thyssenkrupp-Wilhelmsen Joint Venture). He is a seasoned commercial leader in additive manufacturing, with extensive experience in business strategy and advocating technological solutions to industrial customers. Previously, Bjorn was the Chief Commercial Officer at TheSteelPrinters (an ArcelorMittal Joint Venture), an additive manufacturing service bureau specialising in heavy industry markets, where he directed global sales and marketing operations. He has also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Globalpraxis and held various leadership roles at 3M and SLB, focusing on revenue growth, sales enablement, go-to-market strategy, and product development. Bjorn holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Aeronautics from Brunel University London.
