Dr. Bin Gong holds a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University. Dr. Gong worked for Chevron from 2006 to 2011 as a research scientist, and was an associate professor in Energy & Resources Engineering Department in Peking University from 2008 to 2015. He is the founder and CEO of Tracy Energy Technologies since 2013, and is the chair professor in Petroleum Engineering Department in China University of Geosciences. Dr. Gong and his team are devoted to incorporating AI algorithms with reservoir simulation for highly efficient reservoir forecast and decision making through a “AI+ Physics” framework.
