Sylvain Cabalery has over 20 years of international experience in the energy industry across Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific, holding diverse commercial and operational leadership roles.

Throughout his career with the Technip Energies Group, Sylvain has held several senior management positions, including SVP Sustainable Fuels, Chemicals & Circularity and SVP Marketing & Sales. He currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer for the Project Delivery & Services business unit.

Before joining Technip Energies in 2024, Sylvain served as VP Sales, Marketing & Tendering for the Generation & Transmission business group at Nexans, based in Norway from 2020 to 2024. 

He began his career in 2004 at Cegelec, with assignments in Angola and Indonesia, before joining Saipem in 2007 to support major projects in Singapore and Australia. In 2010, he joined Technip, later TechnipFMC, where he held multiple commercial and managerial roles in France, Angola and Malaysia.

From 2021 to 2024, Sylvain served as a Board Member of the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce.

He holds master’s degrees in engineering, economics and management from IFP School (France), as well as an MBA from IMD (Switzerland).
