Partha Maitra was responsible for the conceptualisation and optimisation of the iconic Jamnagar supersite, which includes refinery, petrochemicals, and gasification facilities.

He is currently part of the Strategy & Initiatives team, where he is focused on decarbonisation efforts and the transformation of Jamnagar into a Crude Oil to Chemicals (COTC) complex. Decarbonisation includes integrating new, clean energy with existing fossil energy.

He has also worked on energy efficiency and modernisation projects in refineries across the United States.

Partha holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, an M.S. from Rice University, and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
