Robert Deutman is the Senior Vice President Development & Subsurface for Shell’s Conventional Oil & Gas portfolio. He joined Shell in 1993 and has held a series of reservoir engineering, planning/strategy and operational assignments in the UK, Brunei, Malaysia, the US and the Netherlands. His prior leadership roles include Chief Reservoir Engineer and Chief Petroleum Engineer for Shell globally. He holds a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Robert has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers since 1988.
