Captain Anuj Chopra is a globally recognized maritime executive, enterprise risk manager, and sustainability leader with over three decades of experience in the maritime industry. As Co-Founder of ESGPlus LLC (Texas) and Founder of MaritimESG Middle East (Abu Dhabi), he advises global clients on ESG integration, supply chain resiliency, and sustainable operations. His leadership promotes transparency, innovation, and environmental stewardship across maritime networks. Previously Vice President – Americas at RightShip and President of Anglo-Eastern Houston LLC, Captain Chopra has negotiated complex due diligence agreements and managed large-scale port operations. A former ship captain, he holds a Commonwealth Extra Master’s Certificate and a management qualification from IIM Ahmedabad. A Fellow of The Nautical Institute and Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
