Gijs van Maanen graduated from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Drive Systems Technology. After graduation, he joined Siemens Large Drives in the Netherlands, actively participated in all life-cycle phases of large drive applications and has worked extensively for Global Oil & Gas Projects with Major compressor OEMs and O&G EPCs. Development of Hi speed Motors in hi Power and mid Power range for Innomotics was a major achievement that has redefined Electrification In his current role, he is responsible for Global Project Development, key area Turbine Replacement Projects within Innomotics and also the Global Account Manager for customer Shell.
