Dr. Lu Ruquan, Senior Economist, President of CNPC Economics & Technology Research Institute and the Executive Deputy Director of CNPC National High-End Think Tank Research Center. As a scholar in international energy strategy, his main research areas include international relations and regional studies(with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa), international energy geopolitics, corporate strategy and management transformation, and the Belt and Road Initiative. He previously served as Deputy General Manager of CNPC International Department and Director of Strategic Development at China National Oil&Gas Exploration and Development Company.
