Since his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in May 2021, Eng. Bader Al Lamki is responsible for managing ADNOC Distribution’s overall operations while developing and implementing long-term regional and international growth strategies. He brings nearly 25 years of experience to this position across the oil and gas, clean energy, and utilities sectors. Previously, Eng. Al Lamki held the role of the Chief Executive Officer at National Central Cooling Company PJSC (Tabreed), leading the Company’s operations and growth ambitions in the UAE and internationally. Eng. Al Lamki has extensive experience with some of the UAE’s biggest energy companies, including ADNOC operating company ADMA-OPCO. During this time, he successfully led a strategic development initiative to increase the Company’s oil production to one million barrels per day. He also worked with Masdar Clean Energy, where he was responsible for business growth activities, including acquisitions and green field project development, as well as having an instrumental role in building the Company’s international renewable energy portfolio of 3 GW, with projects spanning 25 countries. Eng. Al Lamki further enriched his professional experience by occupying several roles in leading global corporations earlier in his career, including French energy giant TotalEnergies, where he was responsible for the strategy and development of oil and gas projects across Africa, and was based at the Company’s corporate headquarters in Paris. Eng. Al Lamki holds a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University.
