Ana is a senior level executive with over 30 years of US and international experience in the energy sector, leading many organizations with a global footprint. She consistently drives transformational growth and is highly respected for building strong, sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. She has turned around multiple money-losing businesses into profitable ones. Currently, Ana is President, CEO and board member of EthosEnergy, a $1B global rotating equipment services provider with over 20 GWs of power under operation serving the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Industrial sectors. EthosEnergy has over 4,000 employees globally, field service and shop network from APAC, Europe, UK, and USA. Under Ana’s leadership, EthosEnergy underwent a massive transformation resulting in more than doubling the profitability of the business and closing the sale of the business to NY Private Equity OEP from Siemens Energy and Wood PLC in Dec ‘24. She is an experienced independent director with a combined 15 years of board service experience. She served for 8 years as an independent director, audit committee and corporate governance and nominating committee member of the board of the Forward Air Corp (FWRD, NASDAQ), a $1.6B transportation and logistics business. In addition, she also served for 7 years as an independent director, chair of sustainability and health and safety, audit committee and corporate governance and nominating committee member of the board of Warrior Met Coal (HCC, NYSE), a $1.7B mining business. Prior to joining EthosEnergy, Ana was Managing Director for Aggreko, where she held three different full P&L roles over 8 years. Aggreko is a rental business of mobile power plants and temperature control solutions (AGK.L). She focused on driving the growth and profitability for the businesses, which included operations consisting of 100+ power plant sites, a network of shop locations, and more than 1000 employees. Ana spent over 20 years with GE, mostly in the Energy business, and held multiple executive leadership roles. Amicarella’s numerous recognitions include being honored by Houston Business Journal as one of the 2024 Most Admired CEOs (2024), also an honoree as Oil and Gas Investor and Hart Energy’s 2024 Influential Women in Energy (2024), a finalist for the Power & Energy Female Executive of the Year Award (2022), Power Magazine’s Energy Executive of the Year winner (2021) and the College of Engineering’s Distinguished Alumni Award for Career Achievement (2019). But her greatest achievement, she said, are her children Ana received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University (OSU), an MBA from Oakland University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She competed in the 1984 Olympics in synchronized swimming, was an All-American and Scholar Athlete at OSU and ended her 15-year swimming career in 1987 as the top NCAA USA collegiate athlete in the sport.
