Majed rejoined Deutsche Bank in June 2025 to take on the dual responsibilities of Head of Corporate Coverage for the Middle East and Africa (“MEA”) and Chief Country Officer (“CCO”) for the United Arab Emirates. In these roles, he is responsible for leading Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank client Coverage strategy across the MEA region and overseeing Deutsche Bank’s UAE franchise across all business divisions. Majed brings over 25 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking across the region. Prior to rejoining Deutsche Bank, he served as Director of Trade Credit Insurance and Export Finance at Etihad Credit Insurance (“ECI”). He previously held senior roles at Deutsche Bank as part of the Deutsche Bank Investment Bank Coverage team in Dubai, managing key client relationships across the UAE and wider region. His career also includes leadership positions at Emirates NBD, Dubai Bank, and ABN Amro Bank. As CCO for the UAE, Majed acts as Deutsche Bank’s senior representative in the country, managing relationships with regulators and key stakeholders, and ensuring strong governance and strategic alignment. In his Corporate Coverage role, he works closely with product sales, business, and industry partners to develop and oversee client strategy and relationship development. Based in Dubai, Majed is a member of the Deutsche Bank MEA Executive Oversight Meeting and chairs the UAE-DIFC Executive Oversight Meeting.
