Aziz Khamidov is an investment and policy leader with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of energy transition, institutional investment, and public–private partnerships (PPP). He currently heads a department at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where he leads national initiatives aimed at attracting strategic investments and advancing large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. His work combines expertise in energy policy, international relations, and strategic project management, ensuring alignment with Uzbekistan’s long-term development strategy and global investment priorities. Mr. Khamidov holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Leadership from the University of Oxford, which complements his executive experience in shaping high-impact reforms and institutional partnerships. In addition to his government role, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation, where he promotes youth engagement, sports infrastructure, and Uzbekistan’s growing presence on the global tennis stage.
