Dean Watson has been the CEO of Joulon since 1st December 2020. His mandate has been to develop and execute a turnaround strategy, with a lean, operating model, returning the various businesses back to profitability and growth, maximizing shareholder value and returns. Previously to that Watson was the COO of Aker Solutions for 4.5 years leading operations, along with key functions such as QHSE, HR, IT, SCM and Communications, in addition to Digitalization, Transformation and the Subsea Lifecyle Services of the Subsea division. Prior to that he had a 21-year extensive career with Schlumberger, spanning several countries such as USA, China, Algeria, France, Russia, and the UK where he has held a variety of executive leadership, operations management and product development roles, such as President of the DTR division, VP Operations Integrity, VP Global Deepwater Operations. Watson has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. He enjoys playing Golf, Running and Skiing. He has been married for over 25 years and they have 3 boys.
