Dev Singh is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of cross-functional leadership in the semiconductor industry, recognized for delivering innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth across global markets. Currently based in the UAE as Vice President, Industrial IoT Solutions at Qualcomm, Dev serves as Global Head for Oil & Gas, Smart Cities, Construction & Mining and UAE Site Lead. In this role, he drives strategic initiatives that leverage robotics, drones, AI-powered cameras, and intelligent autonomous systems to accelerate digital transformation in industrial and enterprise sectors. He holds full P&L responsibility, overseeing product line growth, market strategy, R&D investments, and execution to maximize revenue while optimizing operational efficiency. Previously, Dev was VP & GM of Industrial Automation, Robotics, Drones, and AI Cameras, leading advancements in computer vision, AIoT, and next-generation IoT camera technologies for smart cities, connected devices, and autonomous machines. Earlier at Qualcomm, he directed the Program Management Office for APSS IP, managing the execution of compute IP (CPU, GPU) and multimedia IP (camera, audio, video, display) for Snapdragon chipsets powering mobile, compute, IoT, and automotive platforms. Before joining Qualcomm, Dev spent over a decade at Texas Instruments, holding engineering and program management roles across the full semiconductor lifecycle — from product definition and design implementation to wafer fabrication, assembly/test, packaging, and market release. Dev’s expertise spans product line management, business development, portfolio strategy, semiconductor manufacturing, and advanced imaging technologies for mobile, industrial, and automotive applications. He is recognized for his deep technical knowledge in GPU, DSP/HVX, camera ISP tuning, computer vision, machine learning, and robotics systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Arkansas and is passionate about mentoring talent, fostering innovation, and building high-performance teams that deliver transformative technologies.
