Dr. Stephan Schubert leads the technical development and scale-up of circular economy technologies at Covestro, focusing on polymer recycling and bio-based feedstocks. With over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry in Germany and the U.S., he specializes in process optimization and innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and is actively involved in industry associations, including his role as Chairman of the Research Advisory Board of the Gesellschaft für Verfahrenstechnik e.V.
