Aurelio Ferrucci holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry and a PhD in Chemical Technologies from the University of Genoa. Since 1994, he has built his career at Prometheus, contributing to both process and software development teams. He has led numerous optimisation projects - spanning refinery configuration, feasibility studies, and process design - while also supporting software development.

Since the early 2000s, he has played a key role in designing Prometheus’ tools, combining process expertise with functional design and algorithm development.

Since 2009, he has been part of the executive management team, overseeing commercial strategy and marketing initiatives.
