My purpose revolves around unleashing talent & organization capabilities. I enjoy improving functions by focusing on stakeholder needs, talent growth, digital enablement, & strategic alignment. I am currently creating ways to enhance the people & performance culture at the Aramco Global Downstream Business, leading the Downstream HR Transformation. Throughout my career, I’ve used the experience gained in the roles I’ve held in Upstream, Downstream, HR & Learning and Development, to ensure we continue to reach our corporate ambitions. These roles include leading different HR Management & Development functions, including recruitment, talent, and strategic HR. I have established the Diversity & Inclusion function at Saudi Aramco, and have led the HR and PR functions at SATORP, a Saudi Aramco joint venture with Total Energies. I’ve partnered with nearly 150 different Universities and top tier academic institutions around the world, to support our corporate academic functions and I am a founding member and chair of a number of boards that support gender diversity in energy, such as LEWAS, GRWx (formerly GROW), W10x, and Advancing Women in Leadership Council.

Diversity, Leadership and Development Conference Room A 13:45 - 14:25
Exploring AI’s capacity to advance diversity and development

Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to aid in creating more inclusive and development-oriented workplaces for energy organisations globally, helping to drive humanity’s next era of progress. With the ability to combat bias, improve accessibility, enhance decision-making and foster cultural awareness, these platforms are already being used to drive fair and transparent recruitment through blind resume screening and job description analysis. They are also facilitating near real-time reporting, enhancing forecasting and leadership insights in the process. At the same time, AI is serving to strengthen assistive technologies and product innovation, enabling inclusive design and greater accessibility. If harnessed effectively, these tools will strengthen diversity metrics in the energy sector through workforce optimisation, global outreach and metric auditing. As AI’s role in shaping equitable and inclusive workplaces continues to expand, the organisations that invest in and embrace its potential will be among the first to realise the tangible business-related benefits offered by these applications.
